Obituary for Beatrice "Bea" Trompetta

Beatrice “Bea” Bailey Trompetta, 81 of Stratford, beloved wife of Samuel Trompetta, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 11, in Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by her loving family.  Bea was born in Bridgeport, CT on January 15, 1937 to the late Roger Bailey and Margaret (Hobson) Bailey Schwetz. 
Bea enjoyed spending her time cooking and baking her special cookies for family occasions. She was a wonderful homemaker who was devoted to her family. Bea was very social and enjoyed spending time with her friends.  She was a very generous and giving person and will be greatly missed by everyone whose life she touched. 
In addition to her husband of 62 years, she is survived by her loving sons, Daniel (Maria) Trompetta, and Carl (Michelle) Trompetta; two grandsons, Alex and Adam Trompetta; and several nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her brothers Roger and Robert (Moe) Bailey; her sisters Margaret (Mickey) Ware and Genevieve (Gen) Fox; and stepbrother Eugene Schwetz. 
Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. on Friday, January 18, 2019 directly at St. Lawrence Roman Catholic Church, 505 Shelton Avenue, Shelton.  Calling hours have been omitted at Bea's request.  Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity that was close to Bea's heart and supports research to find a cure for her great-nephew Rob, at the A-T Children's Project, 5300 W. Hillsboro Blvd., Suite 105, Coconut Creek, FL  33073 (  Pistey Funeral Home, Main Street, Stratford is assisting the family with the arrangements.
